Home to the Great Royal Bengal Tigers and the Indian Crocodiles, Sunderbans is popularly known for its manifold and paradoxical natural aura.

Sunderbans located in Bangladesh (majorly) and the Indian state of West Bengal is the world’s one of the largest natural reservoir. Some of the best known places in Sunderbans include:
  • Sudhanyakhali Watch Towers- It is one of the most prominent feature of the place from where tigers are watched. In addition to it, tourists can also spot wildlife like Axis Deer and Indian Crocodiles.
  • Sajnekhali Watch Tower- This is another popular watch tower of the place. Special feature include housing a Bonobibi temple, a museum and a crocodile park within its premises.
  • Tiger Reserve- An UNESCO World Heritage Site it houses the species of endangered the Royal Bengal Tiger.
  • Netidhopani- The place houses ruins of 400 year old temple. Tourists from all round the globe travel here to visit the popular and religious temple in Netidhopani.
  • Sajnekhali Bird Sanctuary- Located in between Peechkhali and Gomti Rivers, it is possibly the place where the tourists can take a walk. Situated close to the Sunderban Tiger Reserve, it houses species like egrets, herons and several other species of birds.
  • Sunderbans National Park- The place is as serene as you would ever imagine it to be! It is here where the land meets the sea and is located at the southern tip of West Bengal. In 1977 the site was declared to be a wildlife sanctuary.
